Disappointed they were out of pancakes and didn't direct us to nearby annex prior to seating. Very busy Saturday morning and a bit of a wait after ordering. This was okay because we had a lot to talk about with friends we met up with there. Parking is not easy downtown Eureka. Come early for meter parking near cafe. Self serve coffee a nice feature. Our waitress was good and friendly.
Decent food and a fun vibe. I was only slightly disappointed because I was expecting something fantastic based on the reviews. The service was strange since we saw four different people from the time we were seated until we left. I'm not sure who exactly our waiter was. I got a breakfast platter and my scrambled eggs were runny. The food was okay, but nothing to write home about. Overall, it was a decent place to eat but not amazing.
Honestly, we really loved this place. Had really good food, and such cool atmosphere (we were in the annex). The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is we felt some of the prices were a little high, and my wife's sausage was quite tough. Wait staff was excellent, and the coffee bar is nice, and the option of having coffee after a latte is great also! This place is a must see
Fast paced service(during brunch at least) and very tasty food. Definitely would recommend. Great atmosphere and a mild look into the lower catacomb type architecture that is spread throughout the town due to a historical mudslide.
Must visit!! Best breakfast in town. Great coffee, tea, and espresso drinks. Hearty, generous, well seasoned. The spicy garlic grits are delicious.
