Campsites are spread out, wooded with mostly pines, and it feels very secluded. The white river is a 2 minute walk down the hill where you can trout fish or kayak. Bathrooms are super clean and new. Showers are awesome. My favorite place to camp. The campsites are electric only but you can fill fresh water on site.
This campground is an Army Corp of Engineers Park and is well maintained and very beautiful. Park attendant was very nice and helpful. She even gave us directions to some local sites to check out. Our site was very nice. Most sites were spaced decently but a few were really awesome sites right by the lake which was nice. We got one of those lake sites and we sat by the water every night. These are electric only sites but water was real close. Dump site was across from the main entrance with easy in and easy out.
Always enjoy visiting Beaver lake. The history exhibits they've added are very cool!
Awesome place to take the family. Beautiful scenic views from atop the dam. Great campsites and walking trails even a place to swim. A little something for everyone.
The views are great. It's pretty cool being below the dam when they let water out. Quite a sight to see.
