We popped into this place while exploring downtown Eureka Springs and were absolutely blown away by the friendly staff, incredible salsa, and tasty vegan dishes we both ordered.

A waitress by the name of Nancy was especially nice. She gave us all kinds of local info, and even suggested a fantastic hotel for us to spend the night in.

We'll definitely return.

This is a fun, hole-in-the-wall type place in historic downtown Eureka. Being from Texas, we didn't know what to expect from "Ark-Mex" food. There were a lot of vegan options but for non-vegans, the menu was kind of limited. It was a fun experience and a neat little grungy place, if that is the kind of experience you like. Service was okay and food was okay but a memorable little stop for lunch.

Ate here a while ago. The food was okay. The dinning room is small. We brought my baby and car seat with us so it was hard getting around in there. Then I overheard the waitress talking about if we was locals or tourist. They finally decide that we was tourists so we got charged extra I tried to get them to fix the bill and they wouldn't so we just paid and left. I haven't been back and probably won't.

Cash only! Mostly vegetarian and vegan. I had bison enchiladas, they were bland and slightly dry; tasted like a vegetarian cooked it. My friend had beef enchiladas, he said they were horrible. He only ate one.

We read several good reviews and chose this place over several other Mexican style places in town. The staff (all two of them) was very nice and welcoming but that is the only good review of the dining experience I have unfortunately. The menu is "extensive" as they call it but actually consist of the same dish in different combinations (enchilada, burrito, or taco salad with any combination of chicken, tofu, spinach, cheese, beans, and mushrooms). They stated they use a convection oven for everything and it's obvious. My enchiladas were dry and over-cooked (similar to a Mexican TV dinner). Everything else lacked flavor sadly and I couldn't put enough salt or hot sauce to make it pleasant enough to eat. I've never been to a Mexican restaurant where you have to pay for chips and salsa but we didn't mind so we bought some. The salsa was decent at best and the chips were poured straight out of a bag. The thing that really got me was when my husband asked for Coke and got a plastic dollar tree cup full of ice and a can of Coke. The waitress asked if he would like a refill so he said yes. What we found out after getting our ticket is that they charged us $2.00 per can of Coke. Had we known this, we would have brought our own cans of Coke from the 12 pack we bought the night before for cheaper than we were charged for the two cans we had here. The two ladies that work there were very friendly and talkative and were the most (and only, sadly) pleasant part of the experience.
